This choker style collar is inspired by neck stocks, a historical accessory that was typically stiffened and thought to give the wearer the image of impeccable posture.

This historical neck stock collar has been re-imagined into a dramatic wide choker. Unlike straight cut ribbon chokers, this one has lovely curves to match the contours of the neck making it far more comfortable. It dips down in the front so it won't impede your chin like a straight cut style. It also elegantly curves up in the back and narrows so as not to catch in your hair.

Each collar is hand sewn in velvet. There is a layer of lightly stiffened interfacing in the collar to give it shape. It closes with a lace-up in the back making it very adjustable to different sizes.

Made from a vintage rayon velvet and lined with soft black cotton. This collar features a gold toned metal crescent moon with matching spangles and elongated dangling teardrops. There are also black beaded details nestled in.
