The Wormwood belt is a corset style belt made from luxurious black velvet, giving it the deepest black color and a lush texture. This belt is based on 19th century "Swiss waist" belts which were decorative belts, or sometimes bodice-like accessories meant to be worn on the outside of your clothing. They were particularly popular in the 1860s. This is a great way to fancy up an outfit or change its silhouette.

This belt has lightweight rigilene boning in the center front, and at the center back. It is adjustable with a lace up panel in the back and laces with elastic cord for comfort.

In the last photo you can see approximate examples of the lace up gap depending on your waist size. This applies to all sizes showing both the smallest listed waist size and the largest listed waist size. Example used is a size small belt with a 27" waist (top) and a 29" waist (bottom). If you are unsure because you fall between two sizes, the next size down is recommended.

Belt measures 7" in center front, 2" at sides, and 4.75" at center back.

This is a fashion belt and cannot be used as a corset or for waist reduction.
